Leadership & Governance
Redemption Rescue is a foster-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to helping homeless and abandoned animals across Indiana. From rescue and medical care to training, placement, and follow-up, our work centers on doing right by both animals and the families who adopt them.
Our Board is made up of dedicated volunteers who help guide the organization’s mission and ensure we can continue making a meaningful impact—one animal at a time.
Andrew McIntyre, President
Andrew has loved animals for as long as he can remember, and apparently decided that having a few of his own just wasn't enough. As President of Redemption Rescue, he helps lead the organization with compassion, dedication, and a willingness to make room for just one more foster dog.
He and his husband, Eric, live in Noblesville with their three Redemption rescues, Maddie, Mila, and Athena, who have become seasoned professionals at welcoming a revolving door of foster siblings (whether they agreed to the arrangement or not).
When he's not helping animals find their forever homes, Andrew is helping people finance theirs as a mortgage loan officer with Regions Bank. And when he finally gets a moment to relax, there's usually a good murder mystery involved, a dog nearby, and a strong possibility that someone is about to ask him to foster another one.
Kristen Garber, Vice-President
Kristen knows a thing or two about a full house, and she wouldn't have it any other way. As Vice President of Redemption Rescue, she brings a big heart, a passion for helping animals, and the kind of dedication that turns a love of dogs into years of making a difference.
She and her husband, David, have welcomed numerous foster dogs into their home over the years, alongside their blended family of four kids and four permanent pups. With that many personalities under one roof, we're guessing there's never a dull moment (or an empty spot on the couch).
Kristen's commitment to giving back doesn't stop with rescue. She's also an active member of Tri Kappa, a philanthropic service sorority supporting local communities throughout Indiana. Whether she's helping animals get a second chance or supporting a community cause, Kristen has a knack for making room for what matters.
Katy Patterson, Treasurer
Katy serves as Treasurer of Redemption Rescue. A lifelong cat lover who later added dogs to her heart, Katy brings both care and precision to her role, keeping the organization’s finances in excellent shape.
She lives in Indianapolis with her husband, Jordan, alongside their two rescue companions—a dog and a cat—plus a cat who came straight from the farm. Outside of rescue work, Katy enjoys concerts, sporting events, travel, and hosting dinners with friends, and she’s a proud Purdue fan.
Kelly Growden, Secretary
Kelly serves as Secretary of Redemption Rescue, bringing over a decade of experience in nonprofit work and community engagement across Hamilton County. A former educator, she is passionate about service, collaboration, and supporting initiatives that create lasting, positive impact.
Kelly lives in Noblesville with her husband, Justin, their daughter, Micah, and a house full of rescue animals. Outside of her work with the rescue, she enjoys reading, hiking, exploring farmers markets, and volunteering.
Amanda Klotsch, Founder/Member-at-Large
Amanda is the Founder and a Board Member of Redemption Rescue. She has worked in animal welfare since 2007 and founded the rescue in January 2018, building the rescue with a deep commitment to helping animals in need.
Amanda lives in Westfield with her dogs, Libby, Cleo, and Leroi, and her husband, Ernie, who is always ready to help when rescue calls. When she’s not focused on saving pets, Amanda works as a Realtor and in marketing.
