Our Board

Redemption Rescue, Inc. is a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, made up of a network of loving foster homes dedicated to rescuing homeless and abandoned animals from Indiana shelters, primarily those who have been abused or neglected. We believe that true rescue begins at the moment of rescuing and continues through loving care, medical treatment, socialization, training, finding the perfect match for that particular animal and family, and follow-up after adoption.

Here’s the board that works hard to make that all happen!

Amanda (Ryan) Klotsch, Founder/President

Amanda has worked in animal welfare since 2007 when she was involved in Westie Rescue Indiana. She then went on to work at the Humane Society for Hamilton County as their Community Outreach Manager and then was named the director of another foster-based rescue.

She wanted a no drama, no frills rescue that worked hard to not only educate the community on spay/neuter and breed discrimination, but also keep animals in their homes by helping owners get food, vaccinations and medical help! Redemption became a reality in January 2018.

She lives in Westfield with her 4 year old bully mix, Libby, her 6 year old Frenchie, Cleo, her 1 year old Frenchie, Leroi, and her husband, Ernie, who is always up to help when rescue calls. When she is not saving animals, she works full-time as a Realtor at Highgarden Real Estate.

Val Watson, Vice-President

Valerie is our “yes” girl, especially when it comes to fostering puppies and pregnant mommas! She also handles most of our fundraising and social media. Valerie has been married to her high school sweetheart, Ryan, for 24 years and they have four children, who all love animals. Valerie also runs her own business called “Val’s Place” and volunteers her time with other non-profits. The Watson’s have three personal mutts: Cali, Rocky and Redemption Rescue foster failure, Gucci.

Andrew McIntyre, Secretary

Andrew has been an animal enthusiast his entire life, having both dogs and cats as part of his family since he was 6. Andrew is also an avid foster—it’s rare to catch him without a foster pup or two in his home. He and his husband Eric live in Noblesville with their two Redemption rescues, Maddie (7) and Mila (5), who both help teach and train their foster sisters and brothers. When Andrew’s not saving animals, you can find him by his pool reading a new murder mystery or on the Peloton spinning with Ally Love.
